Perfect for small families, girls’ weekends, or a couple’s getaway, this seaside retreat, located at the Ocean Inn on Isle of Palms, is privately owned and maintained. It is nicely appointed with all you might need for a relaxing stay at the beach that won’t break the bank. Don't think of it as a condo at the beach - think of it as our 'guest room', fixed up for you with all that you need for a great get-away.
This large STUDIO condo sleeps 4 with 1 King-sized bed (Black Label Simmons Beautyrest) and one full-sized convertible bed (futon), both in the large sleeping area. Please note that there is no door to the sleeping area. * Please note that this is a downstairs unit and it is likely you will hear floor noise from upstairs. Guests upstairs are asked to be mindful of activities that might create disturbance below. *
There is one full bathroom with tub/shower.
Kitchen has a convection-microwave for quick microwaving that can also be used for REAL OVEN BAKING for pizza, cookies, casseroles, etc. There is a drip-style coffee maker, NuWave induction cook-top with essential pots and pans to use with it, toaster, dishwasher (a big plus!!) and refrigerator with freezer. There is a full complement of dishes, drink ware, silverware, pots, pans, utensils. There are utensils for the grill as well. There is no full-sized "oven/stove" per se, but there are small appliances to fulfill needs for scrambling eggs or baking a lasagne.
The dining table seats 2 or 4. (There are extra bench seats in the condo.) Wall-mounted flat screen TV can be adjusted and seen from the bedroom or dining area.
You are welcome to use the beach equipment that lives in the closet.
The Ocean Inn features a private pool, free parking (a commodity on the island!), and coined laundry facilities which happen to be conveniently located a few doors down from our condo. Just 20 steps away is an outdoor seating area with a grill and picnic table where it is common for guests to congregate for happy hour and burgers on the grill. This is a great spot in the complex where neighboring guests become friends, often returning year after year. The pool is on the other side of the building so when there is pool noise, you won’t hear it. (An added bonus!!) When you open your front door, you might hear music coming from the beach front area, but you won’t appreciate being a half block away until you go around the corner and the music gets louder! Staying ocean front isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be – there is a reason why there is a city-wide 10pm noise ordinance. It will be nice and quiet here.
Best of all:
The furriest member of the family doesn’t have to miss out on all the fun! (Dogs only.) A pet fee is required for your pooch to stay and is added on as an extra guest fee. The fee is $20 PER DAY (PER 40 POUNDS) and WILL BE ADJUSTED AT THE TIME OF YOUR BOOKING. The floor is tiled. There is a new vet clinic right down the street plus an emergency clinic and pet stores in Mt Pleasant for all your pup's needs.
If you are not traveling with Rover, have no fear - our place is well-maintained and will not have any tell-tale signs of animals ever curling up to sleep here.

'What if my plans change?'
Cancellation at any time incurs a $50 processing fee.
The remainder is refunded in the following amounts: 100% refund if cancelled 30 days prior to arrival, 50% if cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival, 0% if cancelled less than 14 days ahead of arrival. But, we are reasonable people, so let's have a conversation about it. If we are able to re-book the dates, we're happy to refund what we book. WE OFFER AND STRONGLY ENCOURAGE TRIP INSURANCE TO ASSIST GUESTS WITH UNEXPECTED CIRCUMSTANCES. PLEASE INQUIRE.
"Security deposit paid the property" means that a "hold" is placed on the card in the amount of the damage deposit. The hold will be released upon departure as long as there are not damages to the property, furniture, bedding, linens and towels.
Waterview Property Management, LLC manages this vacation rental. This may be described by the website as a new listing, depending on the booking site used. We assure you - The Ocean Inn is a tried and true, well loved property! There are reviews "out there" even if not on this site. Just search the name.

** Your reservation is confirmed when the deposit is paid. Balance is due 30 days before arrival. Balances are deducted automatically from the card on file. In the event of payment failure, a grace period of 24 hours is given to remedy the payment.
** You will receive email 7 days prior to your arrival with essential check-in information, key code, pet policy reminder, and parking pass. Please print all documents and bring with you.
** All items available for your use - soaps, linens, towels, starter paper products - will be in your condo upon arrival. Routine linen and towel exchanges are not provided during your stay. If linens or towels need refreshing, there is an on-sight laundry for guests to use. Cost is $1.50 or $2 in quarters per load, washer or dryer. Guest is responsible for replacing their own paper and soap products if starter amounts are used during their stay. It is not necessary to replace these for future guests.
** All of our properties are NO SMOKING properties. Smoking is allowed outdoors only. Please discard appropriately. Deposit will be forfeited and additional cleaning charges incurred if evidence of smoking indoors is found upon departure. THIS INCLUDES smoking by an open door or window so that smoke enters the condo. Please smoke away from these areas.
** Please dispose of cigarette butts - birds think they are food. We ask that you PLEASE do not throw them in the parking lot or the grass for someone else to pick up.
** Guests are responsible for following the Isle of Palms 10PM noise ordinance.
