This family-owned "Cottage Home" has everything you need for you to enjoy a wonderful beach vacation - charm, provisions, comfy beds, and a relaxing beach vibe. It has been furnished with love and care by the owners and the management prides itself on service to each renter. Come and enjoy our Southern Hospitality in this "Isle of Palms original" that will take you back to the days before Hurricane Hugo. Originally built in 1959, it is a wonderful example of what a simpler life was like on the island back before tourism, Hurricane Hugo, and the IOP Connector. This lovely home has undergone numerous updates and additions over the years and will be a great spot for R&R!
Set on a large .35 acre lot just four easy blocks to the ocean and one block from the IOP Rec Dept playground and park, this house is perfect for families. It even has a slide in the backyard! The spacious screened porch and varied sleeping arrangements make it a wonderful place for friends to gather. The charm and coziness of this house makes it ideal for a romantic beach getaway. The interior of this home is 1025 sq ft - it is small inside but the use of space is sensible and efficient. The added 16x20 screened outdoor porch provides lots of extra space and seating for gathering.
The kitchen and living spaces are open to each other. The master bedroom features a queen bed and plenty of closet/storage space, and a TV and DVD player. Attached is a full bath with a shower only.
The second bedroom has two twin beds with a TV and DVD player.
There is a day bed in the small laundry room area which also has an entry door with a deadbolt.
Queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.
The full bath is in the hallway for easy access by everyone in your party and features a beautifully refurbished antique claw foot tub . The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and the living room is charming and comfortable. AND.... a private outdoor shower for rinsing the sand and salt away.
Beach cart, two beach chairs, misc beach toys are available for guest use.
Spend your days on the beach or in nearby Historic Charleston and your nights on the screened in patio enjoying dining, drinks, or just listening to the roar of the beach. This is the house you've been looking for.

** You will receive email 7 days prior to your arrival with essential check-in information, key code, pet policy reminder, and parking pass. Please print all documents and bring with you.
** All items available for your use - soaps, linens, towels, starter paper products - will be in your condo upon arrival. Routine linen and towel exchanges are not provided during your stay.
** REPLACEMENT FEES ARE CHARGED TO GUESTS in the event of damage or misuse of towels or linens that renders them unusable.
** Guest is responsible for replacing their own paper and soap products if starter amounts are used during their stay. It is not necessary to replace these for future guests.
** All of our properties are NO SMOKING properties. Smoking is allowed outdoors only. Please discard waste appropriately. Deposit will be forfeited and additional cleaning charges incurred if evidence of smoking indoors is found upon departure. Please do not smoke near doors or windows which inevitably causes smoke to waft indoors. If a following guest complains of cigarette smell, previous guest may be charged for remediation.
** Please dispose of cigarette butts - birds think they are food. We ask that you PLEASE do not throw them in the grass for someone else to pick up.
